‘We Tried to Tell You’: Fans Encourage Tia Mowry to Reconcile with Ex Cory Hardrict After Complaining About Her Dating Life

Tia Mowry shared a hilarious video about dating on Instagram following her divorce from actor Cory Hardrict. The acting duo separated in October 2022 and finalized their divorce in June this year. But in recent months, Mowry has been putting the possibilities of dating to the test.

The “Family Reunion” star shared the video on September 14 detailing her dating life, and apparently from what she shares, it’s clear that things aren’t going well.

In the short clip, Mowry is seen speaking the words to a popular TikTok audio trend that helps explain her single status.

“It got worse,” said the divorcee as she drank a glass of red wine. “It got worse, but I have a feeling it’s getting worse. It got worse! It got worse!”

But that’s not all the 45-year-old has to contend with, she said. “I love bombing, gaslighting and emotional unavailability, oh my god. Joking but not joking,” she captioned the post.

Fans reacted to the video, with several noting that they could relate to Mowry’s dating life.

“There’s piss in the dating pool. Wear your hazmat floats, sister. Thank God.”

“Girl, out here on these 40+ dating streets it’s all Hennessey and hookah. Live your life. Get your passport stamps. And do whatever makes your heart smile. God bless.”

“We tried to tell you.”

“Girl, these streets, sidewalks, and highways are rough out here

just a bunch of roadkill.”

Another fan encouraged Mowry to return to Hardrict.

“I told you it was hard out here,” the fan wrote. “If there’s a chance for reconciliation baby, give it a shot. That’s not it. They’re out of control out here.”

Hardrict and Mowry were together for 22 years and married for 14 years. They have two children together: 12-year-old Cree Hardrict and 5-year-old Cairo Hardrict.

The “Sister, Sister” star previously said she had been thinking about ending her marriage for several years before officially splitting.

“It took me so long to process everything and realize that everything was okay. Change is constant,” she shared during an interview with HelloBeautiful. “It’s okay to let go when something is no longer consistent or no longer serves you.”

In June, Mowry shared a seemingly innocent video of herself dancing to rapper iCandy’s “Keep That Dat.” However, fans thought she was shading her ex-husband because of the song’s lyrics: “F–k my ex, you can keep that n–a.”

Mowry first revealed to her fans in August 2023 that she was ready to date again, but never revealed exactly who she was with.
