Are you a fan of indie games? Don’t miss Indie Asylum’s first date on January 31st. The collective of independent studios is preparing its first-ever Asylum Direct to showcase its new products. The games BIOMORPH, Two Falls and Roots of Yggdrasil, among others, can be seen more in the showcase.
Multiple games to plan
Players have the opportunity to have something for everyone as each game explores a different genre. First, BIOMORPH is meant to be a fast-paced Metroidvania soullike with a stunning 2D look. Expect to solve multiple puzzles, navigate each level’s platforms, and face fearsome enemies. This will already be a second project for Lucid Dreams Studio, which also shipped Legends of Ethenal in 2020.
For its part, Two Falls is a narrative game in which you’ll follow the adventures of two adventurers. We find Jeanne, who saw her ship run aground far from the French colonies, and Maika, a young Innu who must travel west while his village is struck by a strange disease. What happens when their paths cross? This is the very first title from the Unreliable Narrators studio.
Finally, more news are expected from the game Roots of Yggdrasil, which is being developed by Manavoid Entertainment. The studio had also provided us with the excellent Rainbow Billy in 2021. This one is for fans of city builders and roguelikes and Norse mythology. The game immerses us after the terrible Ragnarok and the player must rebuild the world tree Yggdrasil to restore balance to the kingdom.
A first Asylum Direct
In addition to these three games, Asylum Direct will also give the collective a first look at new games and updates from Indie Asylum’s studios. So we meet on January 31st at 12:30 ET on Youtube or Twitch.
