Weather in Quebec gray weather but uncertain for National Day

Weather in Quebec: Canada Day rain –

To take part in the Canada Day celebrations, you’ll need to pack umbrellas and wellies, as rainfall is forecast for the entire province.

The weather is also very humid at times. This is particularly true in the greater Montreal and Outaouais regions, where Environment Canada forecasts humidity will approach 30 degrees. Rain and thunderstorms are the order of the day.

Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Estrie, Laurentides, Capitale-Nationale and Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean will experience similar temperatures, but there is only a 40% chance of showers. Using the Humidex factor, the temperature in the Sherbrooke area varies by about 35 degrees.

Wafts of mist near the river will reach certain areas of the north coast, including Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles. As in other regions of Quebec, precipitation is still expected, but temperatures are getting colder: 16 degrees are announced in Sept-Îles and 20 degrees in Baie-Comeau.

The smog alert issued by Environment Canada primarily affects Greater Montreal, Montérégie, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Outaouais and Estrie.
