Major instability will still prevail in most parts of Quebec on Tuesday as rainy and humid weather looks tropical in places, while there could be a risk of violent thunderstorms in certain areas of the southwest of the province.

In Montreal, intermittent rain will stop in the morning, giving way to a light clearing with a 29-degree thermometer and a Humidex of 37, according to Environment Canada.
In the western sectors of the province, on the other hand, the morning clearings will be followed by persistent afternoon showers, but the Humidex effect will persist throughout the day.
It will also be rainy in the center of the province, with persistent showers in Mauricie, Quebec and Saguenay, where up to 50 millimeters of rain are expected.
The federal agency is also forecasting rain with a risk of thunderstorms for Charlevoix and the Laurentides Game Reserve, where showers up to 25 millimeters in intensity are possible.
The same scenario is expected in eastern Quebec with rain and a risk of thunderstorms, some severe, while mercury temperatures will fall slightly.
A little respite is expected on Wednesday in certain sectors where there will be some clearing, although scattered rain showers will continue.
