Weather in Quebec: no snow, but mild weather for Christmas –

Unlike usual, Mother Nature doesn't have a snowy landscape in store for us this Christmas Eve, but Quebecers can take comfort in the mild weather that's coming for a few days.

On Sunday, the weather will be characterized by cloud cover across most of the province, while sectors in eastern Quebec are eligible for further clearing that cannot be refused.

In Montreal and surrounding areas, the weather will be cloudy and temperatures will be slightly above freezing, while certain areas of western Quebec such as the Outaouais could see freezing drizzle until Sunday morning.

Environment Canada says clouds will be thicker in the center of the province, except perhaps in Quebec and Charlevoix, where clearings are expected with temperatures above seasonal norms.

In eastern Quebec, the sky will be changeable, with clouds in certain areas and a change of sun and clouds in other places, but overall the weather will not cause any waves on this day, when temperatures will be within seasonal norms.

For Christmas Day, the federal agency forecasts cloudy weather and rising temperatures everywhere, with positive temperatures of 1 degree in Quebec, 4 degrees in Montreal or even 5 degrees in Estrie.
