The weather scenario expected in Quebec on Thursday is almost a copy of the previous day. The gray and cool weather will continue, then the sun will gradually return while the mercury will rise slightly.
The rainfall that hit parts of the province was heavy. They have partially improved air quality, except in the west of the province, particularly in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, where air quality is still poor.
The weather will therefore be generally cloudy in southern Quebec on Thursday, with possible showers in Montérégie, while temperatures will not exceed 19 degrees throughout Greater Montreal, where skies will be cloudy.
Clouds will bring some showers to the province’s central sectors, particularly Estrie, Quebec, Charlevoix and Saguenay, keeping temperatures below normal seasonal levels.
It will also rain in several areas of eastern Quebec, with strong winds in places that will bring temperatures down to 8 to 10 degrees in Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie.
Although skies will be cloudy in most areas on Friday, the situation will improve as sunny spells with alternating sun and clouds are expected in southern Quebec, according to Environment Canada.
