Weather in Quebec: variable weather with rain in the south and sunshine elsewhere

The weather will be changeable on Tuesday, with sunshine in certain areas of Quebec and showers in the southwest and central province where we’ll need to get our umbrellas out.

In and around Greater Montreal, Environment Canada is forecasting 10 to 15 millimeters of rain with a risk of thunderstorms in the morning when temperatures will hover around 20 degrees.

There will be intermittent rain in western Quebec sectors hit by strong winds, although there is a risk of thunderstorms in Pontiac and Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

In the center of the province, especially in Estrie and Beauce, the showers will be less severe, while in sectors a little further north, such as B. Saguenay, where the temperature is 27 degrees, will be generally sunny.

On the other hand, there will be generous sun with seasonal temperatures in eastern Quebec, while early afternoon clouds could be expected in Bas-Saint-Laurent.

The rain system will reach the eastern parts of the province on Wednesday, while better weather conditions are expected in the rest of Quebec, particularly in Montreal where mercury will rise under the sun.
