In southern and western Quebec, the mercury could approach the 30-degree threshold, which does not normally occur during leaf fall season, when the ground begins to freeze at night.
The weather will therefore be hot on Tuesday and Wednesday with temperatures of 27 and 29 degrees in Montreal and a humidity of 36 degrees with generous sunshine and completely clear skies, according to Environment Canada forecasts.
Generally sunny weather is forecast in the center of the province, but clouds could appear in certain areas such as Saguenay and La Tuque as the mercury temperature continues to rise.
According to the federal agency, eastern Quebec will experience fluctuating weather conditions, with alternating sun and clouds, and temperatures that will suddenly drop and stabilize below seasonal norms.
In this sector the mercury should therefore fall drastically, but in the rest of the province we are still treated to summer temperatures, especially in Montreal and the Outaouais, where it is still 27 degrees.
