Hard to believe that the Los Angeles Rams are the defending champions of the Super Bowl. They’ve been just as plagued by injuries this season as the Denver Broncos, and both teams sit 4-10 to end the season on high.

1:00 PM: The Broncos game day inactives look a bit normal for a change. The starters on the inactive lists from recent games are all coming back. Randy Gregory, Courtland Sutton, Dalton Risner, K’Waun Williams and Latavius Murray were all questionable going into this game but all will be active.
3:01 p.m.: Russell Wilson and the Broncos’ offense got off to a very rough start in the first quarter. After the Rams opened the game with a field-goal drive, Wilson threw two interceptions and converted both to touchdowns to take a 17-0 lead over Denver.
3:15 p.m.: The Broncos’ offense eventually woke up, but a holding penalty hampered the drive. Brandon McManus would have to kick a 54-yard field goal to get the Broncos on the board for the first time in the game. Full first quarter review.
3:34 p.m.: Baker Mayfield and the Rams responded to the Broncos’ scoring drive, driving right across the field and batting it in for more touchdowns to give the Rams a 24-3 lead.

This game will once again come down to offense from Russell Wilson and the Broncos. If they can score points, Denver’s strong defense should be able to limit Baker Mayfield and force him to make some costly mistakes that will help the Broncos to their fifth win of the season.
Now that Klint Kubiak has played a good 3-4 games, I feel like we can see the offense progress more and more efficiently. I would love to see them get 20+ points again this week.

my prediction
In partnership with DraftKings Sportsbook, this year I’m posting all of my picks on TallySight. For once, I really like the Broncos here and I think they can offset that 3 point spread advantage. As is typical of Broncos games in 2022, I also took the under on those 36 over/unders. I’d be insane not to name the Broncos’ track record on that front this season.
