Basham wasn’t able to practice all week so it wasn’t too surprising to see him sidelined for this game and the same goes for Morse. Oliver appeared on Wednesday’s injury report with a calf injury and had limited training before not taking part on Thursday. This downtrend does not show a favorable trend heading into Saturday. Meanwhile, linebacker Matt Milano (knee) was a full participant on Thursday after being limited earlier in the week.
Chicago still harbors hope that Claypool, Jenkins and/or Whitehair could play this week despite not participating in practice for at least the last two sessions. Johnson was added to the injury report on Thursday after being a full participant earlier in the week. He is now listed as a doubt with finger and rib injuries.
Though Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll wasn’t training this week, he told reporters Walker is likely to play this weekend, along with the other Seattle players listed as questionable for Week 16.
A disease appears to be spreading among the Chiefs as a number of players were listed with one on injury reports this week. Specifically, it affects Saunders (didn’t practice all week) and Bush. However, Bush was back as a full participant on Thursday, so he’s leaning in a positive direction.
Jackson and Lemieux were able to enter the practice field this week, so they were excluded. On a positive note, these are the only two players to feature in the final injury report as Evan Neal (shoulder), Leonard Williams (neck) and Kayvon Thibodeaux (elbow) have not received a designation after being restricted all week .
Minnesota will be without Bradbury after a back injury kept him off the training field all week. While Kendricks is listed as questionable due to a hip injury, he was a full participant in Thursday’s practice to wrap up the week.
Edoga will miss his third straight game for the Falcons due to a nagging knee injury that has plagued the lineman. That being said, Atlanta goes into this matchup healthy.
Although Huntley is officially listed as questionable, he will start for the Ravens in this matchup with Jackson still sidelined due to his knee injury. He was a limited participant in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.
After missing training this week with a hamstring injury, the Saints have ruled out Olave. New Orleans will also miss Landry with an ankle injury. Peat also appeared on Thursday’s injury report after missing the session with an illness that has now placed him in question.
Clowney was on the concussion log all week, so he was ruled out for week 16. Meanwhile, Johnson is trending in a positive direction after a limited workout on Thursday after sitting on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
- texan: WR Nico Collins (foot), OL Kenyon Green (ankle) OUT; OL Justin McCray (hamstring), WR Chris Moore (foot), WR Brandin Cooks (calf), DB Steven Nelson (foot, knee) DOUBT
- Titans: QB Ryan Tannehill (ankle), LB Dylan Cole (ankle), G Nate Davis (ankle), CB Kristian Fulton (groin), C Ben Jones (concussion), CB Terrance Mitchell (hamstring), DB Josh Thompson (concussion) OUT ; CB Tre Avery (concussion), G Aaron Brewer (rib), S Amani Hooker (knee), T Nicholas Petit-Frere (ankle), WR Treylon Burks (concussion) DOUBT
Houston has seen Cooks in full training over the past two days, which bodes well for his chances of playing on Saturday despite being officially ruled doubtful. Each of the other players listed as questionable had either full or limited practice on Thursday, so they’re also trending in a good direction.
Tennessee is remarkably battered as they enter Week 16, but no injury draws more attention than Tannehill, who was ruled out with an ankle injury. That means Malik Willis will face Houston. Willis could have Burks available again after attending full training all week to clear concussion protocol.
Bares and Ragnow were both able to train to a limited extent on Thursday, giving them a chance to play in Week 16 despite those questionable tags.
Carolina enters week 16 remarkably healthy with no player listed on the final injury report.
- Bengal: DE Sam Hubbard (Wade) AUS; CB Jalen Davis (thumb), TE Hayden Hurst (calf), CB Cam Taylor-Britt (shoulder), DT Jay Tufele (illness) QUESTIONABLE
- patriots: LS Joe Cardona (ankle), CB Jalen Mills (groin), WR DeVante Parker (concussion) AUS; RB Damien Harris (hamstring), CB Jack Jones (knee), CB Jonathan Jones (chest), WR Jakobi Meyers (shoulder), RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle), WR Tyquan Thornton (knee) DOUBT
Hubbard was unable to train this week due to a calf injury, so Cincinnati decided to keep him on the shelf for Week 16. The Bengals will have pass rusher Trey Hendrickson for this game, though, despite only sustaining a broken wrist a couple of weeks ago. Meanwhile, Taylor-Brit and Tufele were both full participants on Thursday, despite their questionable tags. Hurst was limited in the last session of the week.
New England will be without Mills in Week 16 due to a groin injury. With that in mind, it’s worth keeping an eye on the status of Jack Jones and Jonathan Jones. If those two are held out as well, it means the Patriots secondary will be tasked with slowing down that deadly Bengals attack without the top three corners. Meanwhile, Harris and Stevenson were both limited on Thursday.
Washington will finally see pass rusher Chase Young’s season debut as he does not carry an injury designation for Week 16 after being sidelined for over a year due to a cruciate ligament tear he sustained during the 2021 campaign.
At the 49ers, head coach Kyle Shanahan said Ward was in the “final steps” of clarifying the concussion record and that the club would learn more about his status on Friday. As for Kinlaw, Shanahan says he expects to be ready for this game after training for the past two days without setbacks.
Philadelphia made it official by ruling out Hurts for this matchup against Dallas, meaning it will be backup Gardner Minshew who gets the start on Saturday. Hurts did not train at all this week after suffering a right shoulder injury against Chicago.
A bug appears to be spreading through the Cowboys locker room, affecting two of the team’s most important players on defense. After not training to start the week due to illness, Parsons made a limited return. Meanwhile, Diggs did not train Thursday due to illness.
Ya-Sin hasn’t trained all week and the Raiders officially ruled him out on Thursday. Meanwhile, every player listed as questionable was allowed limited practice on Thursday.
John and Edmunds weren’t able to train for most of the week, so their questionable tags should be viewed as slightly worse than Jack, who was a full participant during Thursday’s session.
