Week 3 of the college football season is underway!
Drew Allar and No. 7 Penn State cruised to a 30-13 win over Illinois to open Big Ten play. Allar finished 16 of 33 and had 208 passing yards on the day. Check out the summary and best games here. No. 14 LSU won its second straight game, defeating SEC opponent Mississippi State 41-14. The Tigers were led with outstanding play by QB Jayden Daniels, who finished the day with 352 passing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
In a thrilling upset, Missouri defeated No. 15 Kansas State 30-27. The game was sealed by a 61-yard field goal by Harrison Mevis, the longest field goal in SEC history. The previous record was a 60-yard field goal, made nearly 40 years ago in 1984.
Currently, No. 6 Ohio State hosts Western Kentucky (watch on FOX and the FOX Sports app).
Several top-15 teams are in action later, including No. 8 Washington, which travels to East Lansing to face Michigan State. No. 11 Tennessee travels to The Swamp to also face Florida.
In conclusion, this is a battle between intrastate rivals, with TCU taking on Houston (8 p.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app), followed by Deion Sanders and No. 18 Colorado as Host Colorado State (10 p.m. ET).

The Ohio State running back added his second touchdown of the game as he fought through front-line blockers before getting into the end zone for a 7-yard score to push the Buckeyes’ lead to 14 in the second quarter. 3 expand. But before that play, Henderson jumped over a Western Kentucky defender to set Ohio State up for the point.

Western Kentucky works its way into the end zone
The Hilltoppers completed a screen pass from the Buckeyes’ 2-yard line, with Austin Reed connecting with Malachi Coley for a touchdown and cutting Ohio State’s lead to 14-10 in the second quarter.

On its first play with the ball back, Ohio State hit a home run with Kyle McCord finding Marvin Harrison Jr. out wide for a 75-yard score, giving the Buckeyes a 21-10 lead.

South Carolina at No. 1 Georgia

South Carolina scored first in Saturday’s game when Spencer Rattler hit Antwane Wells with a screen pass that went 17 yards for a touchdown and put No. 1 Georgia in an early hole.
UGA says ugh
Georgia tried to cut South Carolina’s 7-3 lead with a chip-shot field goal in the second quarter, but the shot went wide of the left net, leaving the score intact.
South Carolina scores again
The Gamecocks added a second touchdown when Dakereon Joyner took the direct snap from shotgun and ran it two yards for the score, giving South Carolina a 14-3 lead just before halftime.
The Bulldogs storm into the end zone
Georgia finally scored a touchdown in the third quarter and marched down the field on the first drive of the second half before Daijun Edwards rushed forward for a 7-yard score, cutting South Carolina’s lead to 14-10.
Bulldogs fight back
Georgia quickly took the lead in the second half, scoring on each of its first two drives of the third quarter to take a 17-14 lead. Dillon Bell provided the Bulldogs’ second touchdown of the game with a 3-yard score.
No. 14 LSU 41, Mississippi State 14
Too little too late
A quick pass from QB Mike Wright to TE Antonio Harmon led to a 4-yard TD for the Bulldogs in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the large deficit.
Roaring on
The Tigers made it 41-7 with a 1-yard touchdown from Daniels on first-and-goal. Another deep connection with Nabers paved the way for the goal.
5 for No. 5
Daniels made his day with a 5-yard rushing TD in the third quarter. The senior was shaken early in the quarter after Mississippi State safety Shawn Preston gave him a hit that was deemed a target and was subsequently disqualified.

Ramos hits a 41-yard FG to put the Tigers ahead by 20.
Before half way
Lideatrick Griffin scored his first career rushing touchdown and gave the Bulldogs their first score of the game by running 9 yards into the end zone just before halftime.
3rd place and goal
RB Josh Williams rushed for a 1-yard touchdown to give the Tigers a 24-0 lead.
Run it back
It was déjà vu for Daniels and Nabers as the two connected again to score another touchdown, giving the Tigers a 16-0 lead. The extra point was good, it was 17-0.
Landing!
Jayden Daniels found Malik Nabers for a 26-yard TD pass, giving LSU a 9-0 lead late in the first quarter. The Tigers got on the field early after a 22-yard FG from Damian Ramos and ended the quarter 10-0.
