This weekend returns the “FAI Autumn Days”, the great event dedicated to the cultural and landscape heritage of Bel Paese. Also in this edition – the twelfth – the young volunteers of the Foundation will put their enthusiasm at the service of making accessible to the public places worthy of being known and appreciated, many of which are normally inaccessible.
Then there is room for the aromas of autumn. “Brostoi, Formài e…” comes to Serle, a food and wine event that is taking place for the twenty-first time this year. The event stretches along the main street of the villa district and in the adjacent alleys and then opens into the various courtyards and rural settings with over 30 stalls. There is a tasting of typical Serlese dishes paired with wines from Brescia for a menu full of delicacies ranging from appetizers to coffee. There will also be an exhibition of handmade wood and stone artifacts as well as a survey of sculptures and paintings.
But there are so many festivals planned: Paspardo, Alfianello, Visano and – in the beautiful lakeside location – Clusane d’Iseo, where the traditional chestnut festival will take place.
For those who feel like shopping, we recommend three vintage antique markets, both on Sundays. The first in Paratico, where “A explosion from the past” will take place, the second in Rovato with “The Attic in the Square” and the third in the now historic Mercantico in Lonato. Finally, Iseo hosts the creative market of the AMA association, where you can find home design, art, painting, fashion and excellent handmade objects.
