Early Tuesday morning, Venus, planet of love and beauty, enters practical Capricorn, and you'll find yourself drawn to structure and commitment. Over the next three weeks, you'll likely be frustrated by unpredictable people (no matter how fascinating they are), so instead focus on those who have already proven you can rely on them. On Thursday, the dramatic full moon in Leo triggers big, loud emotions. It's important to express what you're feeling right now, but it's better to confide in someone you trust than to shout it from the rooftops. Uranus' retrograde finally ends late Friday evening. As the planet of progress and revolution moves forward again, you may find yourself feeling turned around or out of balance. Don't be afraid of change; Do your best to face it with courage and a sense of adventure. In the meantime, find the weekly horoscope for each zodiac sign below.
You care deeply about doing the right thing. Certainly more than most people give you credit for. You want to be a good person and leave your little corner of the world better than you found it. Recently, however, it has been difficult to imagine what this looks like and what it means on a practical level. They felt confused, sometimes even unable to move. This week you will finally find the inspiration you need to move forward despite your uncertainty. You may stumble, but at least you'll finally get going.
You may find it difficult to trust your instincts. Your inner critic is loud and persistent, screaming for you to hold back. That's a shame because when you believe in yourself and dive in, you're unstoppable. This week your challenge – and it will be a challenge – is to have more confidence in yourself. Don't worry so much about making mistakes. You will find out how to fix them. If you encounter misunderstandings, clarify the matter. You are much more capable and powerful than you think.
The bigger your ambitions, the easier it is for you to become discouraged in pursuing them. Instead of looking at everything you've accomplished, focus on the distance you still have to go. Instead of appreciating everything you've learned, worry about how much you don't yet know. And when you look at all the work ahead of you, you can feel like you'll never get it all done. The best thing you can do this week is to stop looking so far ahead. You can find magic in the small, seemingly insignificant moments if you simply slow down and look up from the path you are walking.
Sometimes you have the unfortunate feeling of being invisible to others until they need something from you. They have a lot to offer, but people take it for granted. However, this week you have the opportunity to connect with people who appreciate you – and not just when it suits them. Maybe you'll meet someone who just understands you, maybe you'll find a new balance with an old friend after an honest conversation. Be that as it may, you can build bridges. You will find the support you have been missing.
Every now and then you are struck by the fear that just by being yourself, you are “too much” – too loud, too dramatic, too demanding. Maybe people have told you this before. While it's important to be considerate of others and remember that the world doesn't revolve around you, that doesn't mean you have to shrink yourself or pretend to be someone you're not. Let your bright, warm energy shine through this week.
Spending time and energy thinking about your feelings—or worse, talking about them—will seem like self-indulgence at best and a complete waste at worst. If you have the choice, focus on doing something valuable for the world outside yourself. This week, however, processing your emotions will help you help others. When you're one big, raw nerve, it's easy to unintentionally hurt yourself and the people around you. So take some time to rest. Take care of your heart. Connect with the feelings you may prefer not to deal with. It's not selfish. It is difficult, important work.
This week you may feel like everything is on your shoulders. Not just at work, but also in your personal life: your friends look to you to make the plans, host the meetings, and keep the conversations going. That's understandable considering how good you are at it. But it will be tiring (including for you), so don't try to do everything yourself. Remember that you are allowed to withdraw, go home early and delegate responsibilities. Your friendships won't suffer. A change in routine could even strengthen it.
Especially in close relationships, people have been settling for less than necessary for some time now. Normally you'd ask for more – or at least start a conversation – but lately you haven't had it in you. Speak up this week. Changes come no matter what you do, so you might as well take responsibility for what happens next. It's up to you to take your life in the direction you want. If the road ahead is bumpy, at least be in the driver's seat.
You'll feel your sense of adventure come to life this week. You are ready to start something new. The key for you is to not bite off more than you can chew. Don't sign up for a long-term project if you just want a few exciting days. Be careful not to make promises that you don't want to keep later. Your spontaneity is wonderful, but when it comes to making commitments, you should keep a cool head.
Even though you may act like you don't care what others think, the truth is that you are valued and you want to be well received. It hurts when your hard work goes unnoticed, your jokes go unacknowledged, when others don't seem to understand you or even try. Sometimes feeling overlooked spurs you to try harder, but just as often it just triggers the desire to retreat into yourself. This week you don't have to worry. Relationships will give you validation and you can find comfort in your social circle.
There is nothing boring about your inner life. Your brain is full of far-fetched theories and ambitious plans for the future. Even your daydreams are great. They don't rely on others to stir things up; You're doing just fine on your own. But no matter how independent you are, you still need conversations and human contact. This week, make it a point to get out of your own head. Let yourself be surprised. Let your mind change. Don't worry about being too influenced by others – you won't lose what makes you who you are. This is an opportunity to find a healthy balance.
Maybe it's Mercury and Mars in Capricorn pulling you down, maybe it's only January but you're bored. The tasks and routines that make up your everyday life are not exciting and you long for something bigger, more meaningful. Expect the fog to lift this week – not because of a great new adventure, but because of a change in perspective. Small talk can lead to a real connection. You can find meaning again in work that seemed so boring yesterday. There is no need to travel to the ends of the earth to find excitement.
