“Even public figures have problems like everyone else, people text me, ‘Hey, see you pretty traveling, with your perfect family,’ and I start to think, ‘If they knew what I’m going through…'” .
-What are you going through?
“I’m in a bad financial situation, after my daughter Hanna was in the hospital for many months, I’m unemployed. Also, I have problems in my marriage.”
-What kind of problems?
“We have disagreements but I don’t want to go into detail because my kids are growing up and may be seeing these interviews so I’ll just say we’re trying to salvage our relationship with therapy.”
Do you both want to save your marriage?
“Yes, of course. We just went through something traumatic with the birth of our daughter, Hanna, who was born with pulmonary hypertension and had complications. We know everything we’ve been through and that’s why we’re both fighting and we’re going to get out of this.”
-Have you talked about your looks?
“I’ve always defended my chubby body, but what happens when you’re not happy anymore? I’ve always kept myself between 70 and 80 kilos but now I’m at 100, I’ve already pushed my limits and that doesn’t make me feel good, I said ‘this is worrying, I have to do something'”.
-What are you going to do about it?
“I recently started a keto diet that a lot of people recommended to me, but my cholesterol has skyrocketed. I ate wrong, you shouldn’t eat sugar and I drank some drinks that I thought were sugar free and it turned out to be, but now I’ve decided to have surgery to undergo.
-What kind of surgical procedure?
“Talking to my nutritionist, he recommended a bariatrician who told me about the gastric balloon: Through an endoscopy, a balloon containing 400 grams of salt water is placed in your stomach to make you feel full and eat less as a result.
