Wendy Williams “disagrees” with court-appointed financial guardian handling her money “until at least July.”
Five-time Daytime Emmy nominee Wendy Williams is outraged that the financial watchdog, appointed by a New York Supreme Court judge, is managing her money “at least until July.”
“Please note that Wendy does not agree with the court’s appointment of a financial guardian,” the 57-year-old presenter’s attorney, LaShawn Thomas, said in a statement Friday.
“Wendy has made it very clear that she doesn’t want a financial guardian telling her what she can and can’t do with her money.”

Wells Fargo frozen Wendy’s account back in March after her ex-manager Bernie Young reportedly raised concerns that she was “mentally ill.”
“Wendy believes she is able to hire her own financial advisors to work and report to her and not to the court,” added the Miami Entertainment Law Group executive.
“We believe this story was circulated in an attempt to reduce public outcry and increasing regulatory scrutiny around Wells Fargo over her actions.”
