An artist popular throughout Brazil surprised fans. Wesley Safadão announced that he would be taking a break from the shows. In an interview with Fantástico, the singer, together with his family, explained why he made this decision: He did it anxiety disorder and you need to take care of your health.

“I’m exhausted. That’s the right word: mentally exhausted. I didn’t know when it was the right time to dose and slow down. (…) It’s like I can’t say no,” he told the show.

The following day, the singer’s team released a statement: “On medical advice, Safadão had to suspend presentations.”

The diagnosis? anxiety disorder. The singer spoke to Fantástico, where he sought refuge with his family immediately after the show in Natal.

“It’s been so many years, hasn’t it? It has been more than 20 years since this footprint existed. (…) I didn’t want to believe that I was having an anxiety attack. “So I was a ticking time bomb who got stressed out easily over little things,” he explained.

In addition to the number of shows, offstage commitments made the routine difficult.
