The college football bowl season reaches its climax over the next three days with some of the biggest matchups and more traditional bowls on the schedule. We'll see the first of six New Year's Day games, and on Monday it'll be time for the highly anticipated CFP semifinals, which will determine which two of four teams (Michigan, Washington, Texas and Alabama) advance to the national championship game January.

Saturday's game is action-packed, including Georgia vs. Florida State in the Capitol One Orange Bowl (the landing spot for undefeated Florida after it was controversially eliminated from the College Football Playoff) and Ole Miss vs. Penn State in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl .

What are the New Year's Six Bowl games?
“New Year's Six” refers to six of the most famous and oldest bowl games: Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl, Peach Bowl and Cotton Bowl. In the four-team playoff model, these six bowls alternate and host the College Football Playoff semifinals (this year it's the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl).
