Blinded by love, Antônio (Tony Ramos) will fall like a duckling into Agatha’s (Eliane Giardini) revenge plan in the country and Paixão. The villain begins serving her husband tea as if it were a gesture of affection, but adds poisonous herbs into the farmer’s food to slowly kill him. The vixen’s behavior will arouse suspicion from Angelina (Inez Viana) in Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera.
In this Thursday’s Chapter (16), the exconvict, after overcoming the setbacks at the wedding ceremony at the mansion, will prepare a soothing tea for the rich man. “There are some teas here in the cupboard,” Neide (Luciana Malcher) will inform.
“No need, I brought my herbs. I specialize in teas. “Angelina knows that, doesn’t she, dear?” the cynic will say.
She will serve the drink to the villain in the room, saying that the ingredients are linden, lavender and valerian and explaining that it will help her lover sleep. “There is something else that makes me sleep even better. Put down the cup and come here, come on… Our first night after our wedding, Agatha. I miss you so much,” he will explain.
The vengeful person will pretend to be in love. “How nice to hear that from you, my love. But first I want to shower so I can stay fresh and smell good for you. “Go drink your tea and I’ll be right back,” she’ll suggest.
What does Agatha do with Antônio?
The Almighty is deceived by the woman’s gesture of affection. “Yeah, it tastes really good. Irene [Gloria Pires] He never made a cup of tea to put me to bed. Person without imagination. As for Agatha… She really knows how to win a man’s heart,” he will comment.
The calming tea will work and Agatha will find her husband already asleep when she comes out of the shower. “Sweet dreams, my love… Ah, what a wonderful bed! It’s been a long time since I slept on such a soft and comfortable mattress… Make the most of it, Antônio, because soon this bed will be mine alone,” the Viper will let go.
In the chapter on the 25th, Angelina sees her friend putting an herb in her boss’s food and asks what she added to the food. “It is an Indian herb with excellent antiinflammatory properties. It will help Antônio’s recovery a lot,” Caio’s mother (Cauã Reymond) will lie.
At this point in the plot the villain will have been shot by his own wife. The two will set up an ambush to frame Aline (Barbara Reis) for the attack and send her to prison.
But the farmer will feel very ill after eating, leaving Angelina very suspicious. The housekeeper will ask Agatha for some of the herb and explain that she has a sore throat. The cynic will make up an excuse and claim that the plant is not suitable for such a problem.
Inez Viana’s character alone will make her distrust clear. “I don’t know why, but I find Agatha’s behavior very strange. There is something very strange going on,” you will notice.
In the soap opera, Emmy (Claudia Raia) said that Agatha killed several inmates by poisoning them during her time in prison. To take revenge on the Almighty for stealing her parents in the past, the criminal will poison him in small doses so as not to arouse suspicion.
Does Antonio die?
Tony Ramos’ character has also shown signs of not being in good health. He was having difficulty breathing and appeared to be taking medication for his blood pressure. The rich man even forced Luigi (Rainer Cadete) to keep his discomfort a secret after an argument with Caio.
Walcyr Carrasco may sacrifice the villain’s life to advance the final arc of the series. The author used virtually all of the major storylines from his original summary, and Thelma Guedes was brought in to help him create new stories.
Antônio’s death would be an alternative to shake up the story and stir up the audience with the “who killed?” angle that usually captivates audiences in the final chapters. There would be no shortage of people suspected of eliminating the villain.
