Lucinda (Débora Falabella) is between life and death after being shot in the head in Terra e Paixão. Marino (Leandro Lima) loses his mind when he sees his wife in a coma and threatens to kill Antônio (Tony Ramos), the man behind the attack. “You will pay for this crime,” promises the police chief in Globo's nine o'clock soap opera.
In this Saturday's episode (6), the gunman hired by the Almighty will chase the couple's car after the wedding of Anely (Tatá Werneck) and Natercinho (Daniel Rocha).
After returning from the ceremony with her family, the manager leaves the inn alone to pick up an item she left in the car. The killer will take the chance and shoot the victim, who will fall to the ground bloodied. He will notify Antônio that he has completed the work and will escape unnoticed.
Lucinda is found unconscious by Nina (Kizi Vaz) and Margot (Giulia Ayumi) and runs to ask for help. Danielzinho's father (Bryan Robert) breaks down in tears when he sees his lover getting hurt. “No, my love… No,” he will stammer.
The president of the cooperative is taken to the hospital and taken to the hospital. “For God's sake! My wife was shot in the head, she lost a lot of blood… I need to know how she is doing!”, Marino will plead.
A doctor will reassure the police officer and promise that the team will do everything to save the patient. Still very angry, he will question Nina about the crime scene and remember Antônio's threats. “This shooting was a contract crime! And I already know who ordered it!” he will say.
Marino threatens to kill Antônio
With blood in his eyes, Leandro Lima's character will enter the La Selva mansion armed. “Nobody moves!” he will demand, to everyone’s astonishment. The rebel will immobilize the rich man and put the revolver to his neck.
“You bastard! Murderer! What have you done to my wife? I will kill you! “What have you done to Lucinda…” he will shoot. “Boy, look what you’re about to do!” If you kill me, your life and your career will be over! “You’re still young,” the farmer will argue, trying to hide his fear.
My life without Lucinda is worthless! If she dies, everything will lose its meaning! But you will pay for this crime, you bastard! You will now pay with your own life.
“No, Marino! Don’t do that!” Petra (Debora Ozório) will ask. “That dirty worm gave orders to kill my wife!” the agent will repeat. “I didn’t order anyone to be killed! This boy is completely crazy!” the cynic will lie. “Put the gun away! Don’t do anything crazy!” Irene (Gloria Pires) will beg.
As soon as the deputy cocks the revolver, Silva (Carlos Feroli) and Magalhães (Eduardo Parlagreco) will arrive and disarm him. “In due time…Get this madman out of here! He has come to make absurd accusations against me in my own house!” the villain will complain.
“It was this monster who ordered Lucinda to be killed…” Marino will accuse through tears. Petra (Debora Ozório) will also confirm that Antônio was the person behind the attack and will offer to testify against his own father.
As Marino is ready to put the enemy behind bars for good, he will also propose a deal to Ramiro (Amaury Lorenzo) to extradite the crimes committed by the farmer.
Does Lucinda die?
A doctor will inform the family that the case is very serious but will also explain that the surgery to remove the bullet and drain the brain was successful. “The girl miraculously survived. Luckily, rescue arrived in time and it didn’t take long for them to get to the hospital,” he said.
“Yes, but will she survive? Will my sister survive?” Anely will ask. The professional will be honest and say that the patient is still at risk.
In the 12th chapter, the doctor tells the police officer that Lucinda is being moved to a room. Christian (Felipe Melquiades) will have an emotional conversation with his mother, still in a coma, and ask her to wake up on her birthday.
After some time in the storyline, the CEO will wake up from the coma in the chapter scheduled to air on January 17th. The shooter is arrested in the final chapters of the series. With no way out, the criminal confesses in a statement to Marino that it was Antônio who ordered Lucinda's death.
Written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes, Terra e Paixão is set in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The plot will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993) on January 22nd.
