Hot weeks, weeks full of events. It is now the end of October, but the temperatures are barely dropping, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the weekend in a more pleasant way. But it is not only this warm heat that allows us all to spend the weekend peacefully, but also all the events in Como and its province that offer us a wide choice of activities. Here you will find a selection of the weekend’s events!

Between comics, nature and history: the main events of the weekend are Como Fun and the FAI Days

This weekend we will be forced to choose two different main events of the weekend.

The first is that of How much fun, the comics, video games and pop culture fair that has been coming to Lariofiere for two years to entertain adults and children. After the success of the first two editions – over 20,000 participants at the most recent event in April – the third edition, organized by Hidden Door srl, is preparing to welcome its visitors again on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October to surprise. The event is enriched from year to year with increasingly exciting content, with the aim of surprising visitors with prominent guests and the numerous interactive areas. The event offers a unique opportunity to share the passions that connect young people and adults. From the past to the present, from comics to cartoons, from bricks to virtual reality, the festival is the place where every wish becomes reality. Here age differences disappear in the areas dedicated to the world of video games, where visitors can relive the entire history of video games. You can find all the details in this article dedicated exclusively to the event.

The second ones, however, are the GsFAI autumn days. On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October 2023, the popular and long-awaited street event returns, which the FAI – Italian Environmental Fund ETS has dedicated to the cultural and landscape heritage of our country for twelve years. During the weekend, animated and enthusiastically promoted by the FAI youth groups, together with all the volunteers of the Foundation’s territorial network, special contribution visits will be offered to hundreds of exceptional places throughout Italy, chosen because they are normally inaccessible or because they are are curious, original or little appreciated and known. In Como and its province there are so many places worth visiting. You can find the full list here.

This is how the story’s two pairs of protagonists, ordinary people who each represent a different philosophical approach to life, find themselves in the entrance hall of a building haunted by questions, frustrations and fears… The show tells the story of five people in the phase of transition to adulthood, digging mercilessly within themselves to find the last thing to hold on to when everything seems to be crumbling beneath their feet.
