Queen Elizabeth II has charted a plan to “rehabilitate” Prince Andrew in the wake of the child abuse scandal that sparked the Epstein case.
The monarch hoped her son would take up charity work as a “way back into public life”, a source told the Chron newspaper.
The Duke’s friends claimed the late Queen believed her son could walk a path to salvation “scent style” through discrete good works. Disgraced Minister John Profumo turned to charity work after being forced to resign from government in the 1960s over his affair with Christine Keeler.
“Andrew’s mother suggested that a charity might be the way to go,” a source told The Independent.

“Other family members agreed and they saw it as their only form of rehabilitation“.
The outlet said the prince is unlikely to have taken on a charitable role in recent years.
His critics have wondered if organizations would want to get involved with him in the wake of the Epstein scandal and his settlement with Virginia Giuffre, a known victim of the American pedophile who also accused the prince of sexual assault.
Andrés has always vehemently rejected the allegation and emphasized that there was no admission of guilt in his multi-million dollar settlement.

Although Elizabeth II publicly stripped her so-called “favourite son” of his patronage and forbade him from officially using her HRH title, Elizabeth II was known to sympathize with her situation.
The Chron reported that before her death, the Queen was helping the Duke pay off the settlement with Giffre.
Now sources at the outlet said Andrés is said to be considering her legal options after Ms Giuffre dropped a similar sex abuse case against top US attorney Alan Dershowitz, saying she may have been wrong to accuse him.

He is said to be hoping to return to royal duties if he is able to quash the US deal but this has been taken as a “Illusion” at Buckingham Palace, regardless of the outcome.
