On a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune, viewers were stunned by a contestant's bizarre reaction to a triple throw puzzle. Social media users were quick to call it the “worst guess ever” and many wondered what exactly the player meant.
Gamer Gishma Tabari spoke to Fox News Digital about her viral guess in a show biz category, admitting that saying something “stupid” gave her a lot of anxiety.
“The funny thing about it was that right before I went on, I went to my husband Saman and thought, 'I'm scared that I'm going to go on the show and say or do something stupid that everyone knows.' “I’m going to laugh,” she told Fox News Digital.

During the segment, the letters were revealed one by one until “TH- -RITI-S_-GR-E” appeared on the screen. Tabari quickly guessed: “The British Ogre,” much to the confusion of online fans.
“I think it was just my imagination,” she said, explaining the story. “From the moment I was up there and saw the board, I saw that. Now I look at it and think… it doesn’t make any sense.”
After the blunder, Tabari said she knew she had given the wrong answer but was taken aback when host Pat Sajak asked her to “say it again.” After she repeated the same guess, Sajak seemed amused and said, “Uh, no.” The answer he was looking for was “The critics agree.” Tabari remembers thinking, “Why did I say it again?”

“I saw my picture and thought, ‘Oh my God. It's me.'”
Tabari says her stomach “fell into knots” when she realized people were talking about her mistake, but she soon started laughing at herself.
“There were some hurtful comments… but honestly I wasn't upset about it… People generally don't know who I am. I have a degree, I'm working… I feel like I just had a hard moment and was on national television,” she noted. She joked that she now even thinks of The British Ogre as a person.
