When Andrew Garfield Raps Fans a throwback to the days

When Andrew Garfield “Raps Fans,” a throwback to the days when he was cheeky with his admirers

Andrew Garfield has recently been dogged by claims that he angrily verbally abused a group of viewers watching him film his new movie.

The former Spider-Man actor, 39, who is currently filming a rom-com titled We Live In Time with actress Florence Pugh in south-west London, appeared to have had a crossword or two with viewers “distracting” his film shoot. .

It’s certainly not the first time Andrew has lost his nerve with his fans – he has quite a track record of lying about his identity when approached by devotees.

After being called “rude asf” by a DoorDash delivery man last year, Andrew even admitted the story was true, but insisted he didn’t “like” pissing people off.

In 2018, the Hollywood star was caught on video getting impatient with an admirer who had enthusiastically pushed a poster forward for him to sign.

So, after Andrew’s recent heated encounter with the public, Web dives deep into all the times he’s freaked out before.

He ruins photographers’ shots by holding up signs

In 2012, Andrew was enjoying lunch with then-girlfriend Emma Stone when they noticed paparazzi were nearby.

As they exited a New York restaurant, the two covered their faces with brown paper bags that they had folded and written on.

But it turned out that the posters had displayed web addresses for charity.

Emma’s sign read: “We just found out there are paparazzi outside the restaurant we ate at. So…why not take this.”

Andrew continued, “An opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it? www.wwo.org. www.gildasclubnyc.org. Have a great day!’

It was referred to as “rude asf” by a DoorDash deliverer

In January 2021, Andrew had a very chilly exchange with a DoorDash delivery driver when the courier asked him for ID.

Twitter user @DrnBerry wrote on the platform: “Just delivered food to this n***a who played Spider-Man in 2014. Andrew Garfield. bra rude asf.’

When another asked: “How was he rude? So he’s in Spider-Man 3 then?’ The driver went into more detail.

He explained: “It was cool but I asked for his ID, it’s protocol if we deliver alcohol we have to scan it. He got kind of excited, I brushed it off. Then I thought about thinking, “Damn, that’s the n***a that dropped Gwen.”

Confirming the story was true, Andrew shared his own side when he appeared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast the following year.

He said: “This is my first night in Atlanta and I’m with two of my best friends.

“I ordered takeout and COVID is high and I’m ordering food. It’s literally my first night there and it’s great. I can wear a mask anywhere. I can wear a hat.

“Nobody will ever know I’m here and I’m going to be really low key and stuff like that. So the guy comes to the door, the delivery man — cute looking guy, nice looking guy — and I open the door, I’ve got my mask on, my hat, and I’m like, “Thanks, man.”

“He’s like, ‘I need to see your ID.’ And I’m like, ‘No delivery company has ever asked for my ID. That is interesting.”

“And by the way, he’s pretty close to the door, and I’m super at this point, I have to go to the set tomorrow. I don’t want to risk shutting down a Marvel set in the middle of a pandemic.

“So I’m just like, ‘Sure, just a second. Would you mind taking a few steps back because of COVID and all,’ and he does. I say, “Sorry man, why do you need my ID?” “So I can check if it’s you.”

“First of all, my DoorDash account is not my name. And he says, “Yes, because you have alcohol.” And I say, “No, I didn’t get alcohol. I didn’t get any alcohol, man. I have some tacos.”

“Lo and behold, the guy says, ‘I think I just delivered food to Andrew Garfield,’ and I think he called me rude, which I definitely wasn’t.

“I have asked for social distancing but I obviously upset the man and I didn’t mean to and I apologize for anything that may have been misconstrued as rude. I don’t like pissing people off, but it just became this whole thing and then I think he got in trouble. I don’t know what ever.

‘But wherever you are, I know what you’ve been up to. You were sneaky and challenged me that night.”

He lies about his identity when approached by fans

Andrew once boasted that he denies being the famous actor when fans address him in public.

He told Dakota Johnson in a discussion for Vanity Fair, “Someone’s going to say, ‘Hey, are you the guy in the thing?’ I say, “No, I look like him,” and then we can actually talk, but sometimes I just say, “Yeah. That’s me and I’m going to let you down now.’ You know what I mean?’

When asked why he felt he was disappointing her, Andrew reflected on meeting his idol Tom Hanks, where he realized the movie icon is “just one person.”

He continued, “It’s more like giving myself permission to be ordinary, to be a person.

“Often it does. If someone is open about me being a person, we have a nice chat, but then there are some people who don’t want that. They want Mickey Mouse. Yes, exactly, or they want you tied to something and that’s an unfair position for you.’

Viewers have claimed Andrew “waved at them to open the window” before yelling at them for “distracting” him from work.

A source wrote to gossip site Deux Moi, saying: “Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are currently shooting a new movie in London.

“On Monday AG was filming a scene just outside his flat (S London). My friend and roommates watched their second story and AG saw them watching.

“Then AG interrupted the scene, gestured for them to open the window, and started yelling at them and saying how disrespectful it was for them to distract him by looking out their own living room window?”

The post also included a silent video showing Andrew approaching the flat window mentioned in the message.

On the same day [Monday April 3] Spotted by source Deux Moi, Andrew was pictured with Florence, 27, on the set in London.

In the photos, the couple could be seen enjoying a coffee before heading to a small farmers’ market to select fruit and vegetables.

The film’s plot has been closely guarded but has been described as “a funny, deeply moving and immersive love story”.
