This Monday afternoon (27), the soap opera “Paraíso Tropical” is back on Worth Watching Again, replacing “Women in Love” in the afternoon slot. It will be the first repeat of the plot on open television, as it was previously shown again on Canal Viva only in 2021. This time, the audience will once again have the opportunity to follow the keynotes of Bebel (Camila Pitanga) in her torrid romance with Olavo (Wagner Moura), the big villain of the plot.

Another plot from the series, originally shown in 2007, caught the public’s attention and could be revised: the story of the twins Paula (Alessandra Negrini) and Taís (Alessandra Negrini).
In addition to the main characters, different types entered the soap opera house, whether through villains, comedies or the love stories that permeated the plot by Gilberto Braga and Ricardo Linhares.

The actress said goodbye to television in the plot of Gilberto Braga and Ricardo Linhares after accepting the invitation, although it was decided not to return to the series. Fernanda was absent from the soap opera for almost ten years and said goodbye to the genre when she played Leila in “Amor à vida” (2013). In “Tropical Paradise” she played Joana, the eldest daughter of Heitor (Daniel Dantas) and Neli (Beth Goulart). The girl lived in family conflicts with her mother and adored her father.
The character is best known for her work in the jewelry store of the hotel where the action takes place and for her relationship with Cássio (Marcello Antony). The actress from Paraná, currently living in the USA, is 43 years old and frequently publishes photos of her children Lucca, 8 years old, and Leo, 3 years old, from her marriage to American businessman Robert Riskin.
Carlos Casagrande

Another actor who gave up Brazilian soap operas and decided to live abroad was Carlos Casagrande. His last appearance was in “I love Paraisópolis” in 2015. Since then, the heartthrob became an entrepreneur and moved to Miami 13 with his wife Marcelly Anselmé and their two sons Theo (16) and Luca (16). Today he is 55 years old.
Known for his beauty, in the plot of Gilberto Braga and Ricardo Linhares, he gave birth to the homosexual Rodrigo, Antenor’s assistant in the company. In the plot, she was married to Tiago (Sérgio Abreu), her great passion.
Marcello Anthony

Since saying goodbye to Brazilian soap operas in 2018, shortly after “Malhação: vidas brasileiras”, Marcello moved to Portugal, where he has a contract with TVI, a European communications company similar to Globo. In Terrinh he played Jesus Gonzaga in Valor da vida and more recently Enzo Cavalcante in the remake of Morangos com açúcar.
In “Tropical Paradise” he played Cássio, a connoisseur who does not give up leisure and flirting with women. Despite his style, he owns a highly regarded Brazilian restaurant.
Patricia Werneck

Although her sweet Camila conquered all of Brazil, the representative of the soap opera’s young love core did not have many opportunities on television after the storyline. The actress only had a permanent role in series after “Paraíso Tropical” in “Promessas de amor” (2009) on Record and “Cordel Enchanted” in 2011.
Her last television work was “Gabriela” (2012), in a special appearance. She is currently not on television and is married to fellow actor André Barros, with whom she has a 13yearold son Antônio.
