This Is Us is in the middle of its sixth and final season and the show features three episodes, each focusing on one of the Big Three.
Season 6 Episode 8, The Guitar Man, which aired March 15, 2022, focused on Kevin. However, the promo for Episode 9, The Hill, reveals that the next focus would be on Kate as she travels to San Francisco to try and reignite the magic in her crumbling long-distance marriage to Toby.

When is This Is Us season 6 episode 9 expected to air?
Episode 9 of This Is Us Season 6 is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday March 22, 2022 on NBC. It will premiere at 10:00 p.m. in the United States and will also be available on independent sites in France the following day.
The upcoming episodes, as well as previous seasons, are also available on Hulu, Peacock, and Hotstar.

In an exclusive sneak preview clip from the upcoming episode of the series, The Hill, the couple, pack up and head to the cabin after an emotional Thanksgiving from the Pearson family.
In the taboo episode of the same series, the couple got into a heated argument over talking about their children and their eating habits. Needless to say, they didn’t look at things the same way.
Despite the problem, Kate seems ready to see life through Toby’s eyes by planning a special expedition for herself. After saying goodbye to Kevin and Randall and vowing to meet them at Rebecca and Miguel’s anniversary dinner, Kate turns to Toby and says, “We can’t keep this up.”
Instead of using this as a dividing line, she clarifies that “living in two different places” is not sustainable. As a compromise, she says to Toby:
“It’s overwhelming to live in two different cities. So I’d like to take you to San Francisco over the weekend to see how it feels.”
In the episode, we will also see how Kate passes her mother’s instruction on to all three of her children. Does it mean fighting to save their marriage or admitting that being unhappy in a long distance marriage is not the best life, only time will tell.
