Celebrate 2023 with the dynamic duo Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper!
First things first: Despite reports to the contrary, it looks like Cooper and Cohen aren’t drinking during their popular CNN New Year’s Eve show. “We’re not drinking, but we’re going to have a great time,” Cohen told Page Six. Cohen’s clarification came after he suggested in a recent Rolling Stone interview (published Wednesday but taped more than a month ago) that he would drink during the show, despite CNN banning its contributors from drinking.
“My job is to get Anderson out of his comfort zone [and] My job is to be a party ringleader for everyone watching us on New Year’s Eve,” Cohen previously told Rolling Stone. “If the correspondents don’t drink this year, I’ll party even harder for them.”
CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live will feature a number of must-see guests and cast members, including Usher, Kevin Hart, Ellie Goulding, Patti LaBelle, REO Speedwagon, Ava Max, Nick Cannon, Jenifer Lewis, John Stamos, Jack Black and Kyle Von Tenacious D Gas and many more. Jean Smart and Cheri Oteri will also be live with Anderson and Andy to join in the fun.
