Which devices work with Max?

Although it was launched in the United States in May 2023, the new version of HBO Max was only launched in Brazil this year, Max. Have subscription prices changed?

Max: Plans and prices

Yes. Previously the price of HBO Max was R$34.90, but now the user has three plans to choose from:

  • The base price is R$29.90 per month or R$225.90 per year, with viewing on 2 simultaneous devices and Full HD resolution
  • The standard price is R$39.90 per month or R$357.90 per year, Full HD resolution, 2 simultaneous devices and 30 downloads for offline viewing
  • Platinum for R$55.90 per month or R$477.90 per year, Full HD and 4K Ultra HD resolution, Dolby Atmos audio and 100 downloads for offline viewing

For those who already had an HBO Max subscription, the change will be automatic, so it's important to be aware of future charges. However, anyone who has previously subscribed to the platform with discounts will continue to receive this discount, albeit for a limited time, although there is no prediction yet as to how long the discount will be valid.
