Thanksgiving, like many holidays, is a time of stress and anxiety, but when you’re high, it can be a little less stressful.
While the sale of marijuana is not legal in Indiana, states such as Illinois have legalized the sale of medical and recreational marijuana. Marijuana is legal for medical use in 38 states and Washington DC, while 24 states have legalized it for recreational use, most recently in Ohio on November 7th.
However, Indiana residents can purchase items from these out-of-state pharmacies, even though they are still illegal within state lines. For residents of Evansville and surrounding areas, a pharmacy is less than an hour away, just across the Illinois state line. Terrabis in Grayville is open to anyone 21 and older who wants to shop in person.
Non-residents of Illinois over the age of 21 can legally purchase 15 grams of cannabis flower, 250 mg of THC in a cannabis-infused product, and 2.5 grams of cannabis concentrate.
From the big meal to Black Friday shopping to general anxiety, here’s a list of different marijuana strains that Terrabis says can make the big day a little easier.
OG Chem, also known as Chemdawg OG or Chem OG
A sativa dominant strain with uplifting and energetic effects. It is known to induce cravings and is great to consume before dinner. You may end up eating more than you expect.
