The incredible richness of this find practically mobilized several experts in this field. The main find seems to be the well-preserved sword. 70 cm long and 5 cm wide. The handle, which apparently dates back to the year 1000, is very interesting.
And that’s not all. The tomb of Setesdla also revealed several other valuable finds. Along with the sword, Savior found a spear, probably for use on horseback. Most importantly, Stokke reveals that the objects found inside are among the best preserved objects they have worked on to date. what will happen now The items inside the tomb are being taken to the Oslo Museum to better analyze them and possibly allow for a more accurate identification of what type of warrior their rightful owner was.
This is now called a very valuable find, because it is very rare to find a complete weapon set. The homeowners themselves said they were shocked. When they bought such ancient land they certainly did not think they could stumble upon something so precious as the area surrounding the house is very remote from other recognized sites of historical interest. In the meantime, the authorities have publicly thanked the Heiland spouses for promptly registering and permitting the excavations.
