The White House on Wednesday slammed former President Donald Trump for soliciting dirt on the Bidens from Vladimir Putin while the Russian President’s forces carried out a brutal invasion of Ukraine.
“What American, let alone an ex-president, thinks this is the right time to conspire with Vladimir Putin and brag about his ties to Vladimir Putin?” said Kate Bedingfield, White House communications director, as she was asked about Trump’s comments.

She made the comment a day after Trump again solicited information from Putin, this time during an interview with Just the News.
Trump brought up Hunter Biden’s lucrative deals and then rolled out an allegation he made during the 2020 election campaign, in which he accused Hunter of taking money from the wife of the late Moscow Mayor, Yury Luzhkov.
