(CNN Spanish) — Gun violence in the United States does not stop. Now it happened in Nashville, Tennessee, where a person identified as Audrey Hale, 28, carried out a mass shooting at the Covenant School elementary on Monday.
Six people were killed by gunfire in that attack, the 131st mass shooting to date in the United States in 2023. Of these, three were 9-year-old children and three were adults who were part of the school staff. The authorities, in turn, gunned down Hale.
All of the people killed in the Nashville shooting have been identified.

The 9-year-old victims who died in the attack were students at Covenant Elementary School. They have been identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney.

Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas said in a statement that Chad Scruggs, a former pastor at the church, is the father of Hallie, one of the victims of the Nashville shooting.
“We love the Scruggs family and join them in mourning the loss of their precious daughter, Hallie,” said senior pastor of the Texas church, Mark Davis. “Together we trust in the power of Christ to give us the comfort and hope we desperately need.”
Around Evelyn And Wilhelm no further information has been given yet.
the three adults
The other three fatalities were identified as Katherine Koonce (age 60), Mike Hill (age 61) and Cynthia Peak (age 61).
So far, two of them, Koonce and Hill, are known to have worked at Covenant School, according to the school. There is no information about Cynthia Peak yet.

According to the school’s website, Koonce was the principal of Covenant School.
He attended Vanderbilt University and Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville and received his master’s degree from Georgia State University.

Mike Hill has been identified in the staff section of the Covenant Presbyterian Church website, which is now offline.
I was listed as service/kitchen staff. According to police, Hill was a janitor at the school.
(It should be noted that Covenant School is a private Christian school established in 2001 as a ministry of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, teaching grades Pre-K through 6).
