Sophia Bush has reportedly struck up a budding romance with women’s soccer star Ashlyn Harris.
According to TMZ, the 41-year-old actress and the 37-year-old athlete are “officially a thing.”
“After being friends for years and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out for their first dinner a few weeks ago,” a source told People, noting that the romance is “recent.”
The One Tree Hill alum and the athlete certainly have a lot in common, as they were both recently divorced.

Harris attended Satellite High School in Satellite Beach and helped her team win championships in 2002 and 2003 during her sophomore and junior years.

The star, who also became the first NWSL player to make 500 saves, was named the 2016 NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year.
The former US women’s national team goalkeeper retired at the end of 2022 after twelve professional seasons.
She made 25 appearances for the USWNT and is a two-time world champion.

However, the marriage didn’t last long and Harris filed for divorce from Krieger, 39, on September 19, saying their union was “irretrievably broken.”
The former NJ/NY Gotham FC goalkeeper and center back co-parent two young children – daughter Sloane Phillips Krieger-Harris, 2; and son Ocean Maeve Krieger-Harris, 15 months – whom they adopted in 2021 and 2022.
Like her new love, Bush is also recently divorced.

According to People, there is “no salacious story” when it comes to the timing of their rumored romance.
A source said: “Although this is new information to the public, Ashlyn and Ali’s divorce began months ago and they have been living apart since the summer.”
