New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft adds a new ring to his Super Bowl winning collection.
According to Page Six, the 80-year-old billionaire is engaged to 47-year-old Dana Bloomberg. While it remains to be seen when the couple will tie the knot, here’s what you need to know about the future Mrs. Kraft.
Who is Dana Bloomberg?
In March 2022, Page Six reported that Dr. Dana Bloomberg and Patriots owner Robert Kraft were engaged to Cindy Ord.
Bloomberg is a board-certified ophthalmologist based in New York City, specializing in the treatment of eyes and vision, as well as glaucoma.
She also served as an associate professor of ophthalmology at Columbia University. It is not clear if Bloomberg is associated with the school, as well as with the New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
According to the New York State Department of Health website, Bloomberg received her MD from St. Louis University School of Medicine in May 2000.

Bloomberg reportedly completed her residency in 2004 at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio and then completed her glaucoma fellowship at Johns Hopkins University’s Wilmer Eye Institute. She also practiced medicine in North Carolina.
Some of her professional awards are reported to include the American Glaucoma Society Clinical Scientist Award in 2009; the Wilmer Eye Institute’s teaching award in 2006; and in 2013, she was named in the New York Times Magazine. list of rising superphysician stars.

Bloomberg appears to have no social media accounts, and her employee page at Columbia University’s Department of Ophthalmology no longer exists.
When did Bloomberg start dating Kraft?
Bloomberg began dating Kraft in 2019. In June of that year, they stepped out as a couple for the first time, holding hands at the French Open. A month later, they attended the Women’s World Cup final in Paris together.
Kraft and Bloomberg were then spotted at the annual Apollo in the Hamptons party at Ronald Perelman’s estate in August 2019. A few months later, Kraft and Bloomberg posed for pictures at the Elton John Oscars in Los Angeles.

In March 2022, a source told Page Six that Bloomberg was spotted with a “giant rock” on her finger, noting that the sparkler looked “10 carats or more” and “the size of Bob’s Super Bowl ring.”
Kraft has six championship rings with New England and the team won their most recent 2019 Super Bowl title when the Patriots defeated the Rams.
Kraft was previously married to his college sweetheart Myra Hyatt Kraft for 48 years until her death from ovarian cancer in July 2011. She was 68 years old.
He began dating actress Ricky Lander in 2012. In 2018, they broke up.
