“When they returned to Griselda and told her that they had failed Jesus but had accidentally killed her son, she was overjoyed. He said, “Well, he deserved it, he rejected my son. “What better way to get revenge than to kill your son?” That’s the kind of cruelty and behavior that Griselda displayed,” Andreu mused.
“CHUCHO” WAS ARRESTED BEFORE DISAPPEARING
According to the retired police officer, “Chucho” was arrested shortly after his son's death, leaving him unable to exact his revenge. In his interview in prison, the killer revealed what he did after losing the minor.
“He took the boy home and cleaned him up. “He put him in a bathtub full of ice and sat on the bathroom floor holding the child's hand all night until he decided what to do in the morning,” the police officer explained. The next day, he left the little boy's body at a mosque in Miami. “He was wrapped in a blanket, he had a few roses and his passport in his hands on his chest,” he added.
The case of Jesús Castro is just one example of the extent of Griselda's cruelty, who murdered or had enemies and allies killed for various reasons, some of which made very little sense.
“She murdered people in the blink of an eye. She would kill anyone who displeased her, whether because of debt, because someone had made a mistake in delivery or because she didn't like the way they were viewed,” said Stephen Schlessinger, an assistant federal prosecutor who represented the Case of Griselda Blanco prosecuted.
