Mughini’s betrayal, which Michela Pandolfi has not yet forgiven
Michela Pandolfi, during the interview with the weekly magazine Chi, also spoke about the betrayal suffered by Giampiero Mughini and the reason why she decided to continue being with him:
Was he faithful during these 30 years? No, I didn’t catch him, he told me. We’re talking about twenty years. Maybe I never forgave him. What if I sent him away from home? I could not. We had just moved in together because we had lived in separate houses for the first ten years of our relationship, and he says he was distracted because he had never lived together before. He justified himself with the trauma of living together. But I don’t believe it.
He then revealed a detail from her private life: “Do you think we have a whore’s room in the house too? It is a room where Giampiero keeps erotic literature, prints, illustrations of female nudes… he is an esthete.”
The couple shares a love of dogs
Michela Pandolfi and Giampiero Mughini are madly in love with their dogs. The journalist never wanted children. On the show Come to me he said that he viewed his dogs like his children:
The dogs are my children, they are my family, I have nothing else. I have Michela and I have no choice for the rest. Have I always wanted to have children? No, I think it is a very difficult task, you have to know how to do it. I like knowing how to do things, and I think I wouldn’t have known how to do them because I was so busy in the battle of life that I only cared about myself. I never wanted it. It’s not regret.
