Born in London on September 9th, 1952, Phil Palmer’s passion was burning and he has since become a renowned British jazz and rock guitarist.
Phil Palmer is an incredible 70 years old! Since 2012 he has been happily married to the talented Italian singer, songwriter and producer Numa, with whom he has been collaborating since 2006. He is also the proud father of two sons from his first marriage, Oliver and Charlie.

I’m Phil Palmer, the proud nephew of Ray and Dave Davies, the legendary duo of the legendary Kinks, one of the most influential bands in the history of British rock and beyond!

In 1975 he was excited to embark on his first world tour and join the group supporting David Essex. Since 1980 his passion for music has only grown as he has had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most celebrated artists such as Frank Zappa, Dire Straits, Pete Townshend, Gary Barlow, Joan Armatrading and Eric Clapton.
After moving to Nice he had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned Italian musicians such as Lucio Battisti (especially known for his solo in Con il Nastro Rosa), Marcella Bella, Ivano Fossati, Renato Zero, Loredana Bertè, Riccardo Cocciante, Francesco De Gregori and Claudio Baglioni.) It was a privilege and an honor to work with these talented people!
In 1987 he eagerly participated in the creation of the soundtrack for Stanley Kubrick’s cult film “Full Metal Jacket”.
Phil Palmer is a pioneering guitarist who has contributed a whopping four hundred credits to the development of the guitar in popular music over the past four decades. His passion for the instrument is undeniable, making him one of the most influential guitarists of our time.
