He is known for his incredibly fit physique.
But Thor star Chris Hemsworth has revealed he needed a new look for his latest Netflix action film, Extraction 2.
The 40-year-old told his trainer he wished he had “smaller biceps” for his role as Commander Tyler Rake in the new film.
“Thor needed aesthetic bodywork above all else,” Hemsworth said in an interview with GQ magazine earlier this month.
“While Extraction 2 required far greater athleticism,” he continued.

Reshaping the star’s body meant shedding the voluminous look in favor of better muscle definition and achieving an athletic physique.
He was also striving for better overall fitness in order to maintain the energy needed for the intense action scenes in the Extraction sequel.
Having narrowly survived the events of the first film, Hemsworth’s character Rake is back as an Australian black ops mercenary.
This time he’s tasked with yet another deadly mission: rescuing the abused family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison they’re being held in.
Starring Olga Kurylenko, Idris Elba, Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa and Daniel Bernhardt.

Hemsworth recently announced his role in the upcoming action thriller and spoke about the stunts that will be performed in the film in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
The father of three said the big stunts were “the most detailed and grueling combat training I’ve ever been on.”
He went on to explain, “We were looking forward to the moon, so to speak.” “In a very crowded, action-packed world, I think we’ve created something very unique.”
The first film, Extraction, became a hit on Netflix, reaching a whopping 99 million viewers within just four weeks of its release. Sam Hargrave directed both the first film and the sequel.
