Businessman Alexandre Correa, Ana Hickmann's husband, attracted attention when he published a video in which he showed that he lives comfortably in a small apartment that does not even have electricity, despite owning several properties, including a luxury apartment that is furnished and unoccupied. Would it be a “victimization strategy” in the war against the Record presenter, as highlighted on social media? He says no.
“It's a property that's for sale, so it wouldn't make sense for me to use it, I'm aware of that. It's a big, beautiful, high standard property, furnished, empty, but it wouldn't make sense.” “If I occupied it, it would hinder negotiations,” he said. Correa on this TV news.
The apartment is located on Rua Monte Alegre in Perdizes (West Zone of São Paulo) and has 407 square meters of private space, four suites and six parking spaces. On a real estate platform the value is estimated at R$7.124 million. According to the registry office, it was bought by Correa and Ana in 2011 for R$ 1.6 million.
The building with a neoclassical facade was built by Cyrela in 2010. Part of the area (156 square meters) of Ana's apartment is a private backyard as it is located on the ground floor.
The place was the residence of Ana, Correa and the couple's son until the family moved permanently to a 2,600 square meter mansion in Itu (about 100 km from São Paulo). In 2014, Rodrigo Faro featured the apartment on national television in a report on Hora do Faro, on Record.

Banks want to take over apartments
However, if it is sold, some (or all) of the money raised will have to be used to pay off debts estimated at R$3440 million. Sicredi, which is seeking R$2.5 million from the couple in court, has already entered a provisional confirmation in its deed that will give it priority in the event of a sale. Other banks should do the same.
Correa and Ana were married for 25 years and have been separated since Nov. 11, when she called police to his home and reported him for domestic violence and violence against property. Ana also called on the police to investigate the alleged embezzlement of R25 million by their companies and the forgery of their signatures on checks and contracts.
The businessman denies aggression and misappropriation of resources. He says that the debts of Ana's company are the result of the presenter's bets that did not work out during the pandemic, when he was not in the management of the cancer treatment company. Correa claims it's all nothing more than a “grand scheme” to “victimize” women in order to make more money and get out of debt.
Correa has been living in a 35 square meter studio in western São Paulo for a week. The property, which was borrowed from a few friends, was recently handed over by the construction company. Correa spent the last seven days waiting for the installation of electricity by the Enel concessionaire, which finally made the connection on Wednesday evening (13).
Another apartment owned by the couple in São Paulo, in Pompeii, is occupied by Ana's sister.
