Pain overwhelms the family of prominent Cuban baseball player Erly Casanova following the death of his wife on the morning of this Sunday, January 7th.

Last December, Erly Casanova reached 100 wins in national tournaments. He achieved his 100th success in the uniform of the Artemis Hunters in battle against a well-known rival, the Industrialists.
The player from Pinar del Río was announced as a reinforcement for the Artemisa team for the second elite Cuban baseball league, whose competition resumed on Saturday. However, he was absent from the first call due to his partner's illness.
