Filming for the sequel to Nuit Blanche recently began.
We met Marilyse Bourke earlier this week during a screening of After the Flood and asked her about the long-awaited return of this Quebec production.
First, we wanted to know if France Castel would appear in the credits again, even though she died at the beginning of the first season.
“Yes, she’s coming back,” she confirms. “The action takes place in 1980 and 2023 this time, but we will go back in 2020-2021 for clues. The characters remember certain things, which makes us travel back in time and thus find France Castel. We will not only hear it during the story, but this time we will also see it. ” Good news!
The plot of this second season picks up just five minutes after the events of the last episode, when we had just discovered Clémence’s body in her kitchen.
The actress can’t say much about what awaits her character in this sequel, but still ventures these few words: “I can say that Marlène will make strange decisions to protect her family. It’s a close-knit clan. The company depends on each of them; no one can go under. This is what will directly affect Marlène and what will lead her to make bad decisions.”
The second season of Nuit Blanche is presented on Amazon Prime. However, no release date has been announced as of this writing.
This is what the actor Jean-Philippe Perras told us about the return of his character in Nuit Blanche.
