Now he will be separated from his family, as Cody Rhodes announced in The Grayson Waller Effect. This opens up several possibilities as you can spark new rivalries and run into some familiar faces. One of these faces is from earlier this year. The connection between Jey Uso and Sami Zayn will never be forgotten. It is possible that their paths will cross again.
Former Honorary Uce and Kevin Owens lost their WWE tag team titles at Payback while The Judgment Day won a hellish street fight. Owens was injured during the fight.
If he were to take another day off, Zayn could relive the magic he and Jey created. The two have not interacted with each other after June 2023. But what if they reunite to try and win the tag titles from Finn Balor and Damian Priest?
Meanwhile, Kevin Owens’ reaction to this development could create an interesting dynamic, especially after he repeatedly told the 21-year veteran to stop talking to Jey in April.
Instead, we can expect a segment between Jey Uso and Sami Zayn on RAW where the two recognize each other and hug. A full-fledged reunion may have to wait, as Main Event Jey’s time on the red brand appears to be temporary.
How long will Jey Uso stay on WWE RAW?
WWE likely moved Jey Uso to RAW because his match with Jimmy Uso is scheduled for WrestleMania 40. This is a great way to keep the twins apart while giving them the opportunity to build their individual careers as singles players.
It will be interesting to see how Roman Reigns reacts to the rebranding. The Tribal Chief could demand that Jey return to SmackDown once he returns from his hiatus, which could lead to a deadly Bloodline 4 path at Survivor Series 2023.
