William Bonner surprised the audience during the live broadcast of the last segment of the Jornal Nacional this Tuesday 23 on Globo.
After broadcasting a report on the dismissal of Judge Eduardo Appio from the Federal Provincial Court of the 4th Region, the TRF4, the journalist mentioned Sérgio Moro but used a wrong word and had to correct himself. He deviated from protocol and read out a statement that appeared to be on the bench.
“We said that the Curitiba 13th Court’s convictions and rulings against Lula were overturned by the Supreme Court, which also reviewed Judge Moro’s impartiality. It was just the opposite. The STF felt that Judge Moro was partial. And hence the repeal. “Sorry for the mistake,” said the moderator.
