While many people insist on the importance of choosing public transportation over cars, Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander is setting an example in a way that doesn’t go unnoticed.
The hockey player therefore traveled by subway to the Scotiabank Arena, where a duel against the Ottawa Senators was taking place on Wednesday, as a photo posted by an Internet user on social networks clearly showed. Wearing a coat that was comfortable enough to withstand the cold outside, the player didn’t seem to be bored at all during his journey underground, as he held his phone in his hand to distract himself from other things.

Strangely, a passenger was sitting directly to his left; The man in the Leafs cap certainly had no idea he was just inches away from one of the club’s most prominent athletes.
Nylander apparently took the subway to the game today. What a beauty, right? The contract extension in Sweden will hit us hard.

Nylander has scored a point in each of his last 13 games. He scored in the first period against the Sens, but they won 6 to 3.
