The Windows 11 preview was released as part of the Windows Insider program

Microsoft has just released a new build of Windows 11, build 22635.3066. It is made available in the Windows Insider Program Beta Channel via update KB5034209.

Redmond has been recommending turning on the “Get latest updates as soon as they are available” option in Windows Update for some time now.

Click the button to receive the latest updates as they become available to help deliver new features.

It allows you to be part of the first waves of users during a phased deployment of changes and new features. Therefore, the company documents changes in the beta channel in two categories:

  • new features, improvements and fixes gradually rolling out to machines with this option enabled,
  • New features, improvements and bug fixes will then be available to everyone in the Beta Channel.

Coming back to our new preview, Windows 11 Build 22635.3066, it is mainly accompanied by fixes. They are tested on PCs that have the “Get latest updates as soon as they are available” option activated.

We found the solution to a crash issue with tabtip.exe that affected text input. A patch fixes an issue where dragging the Task Manager window did not work when the mouse was over the search box.

Narrator should no longer crash when adding natural voices, while the issue where voice access was blocked when setting up new languages has been resolved.
