Windows 11 Microsoft introduces widgets to monitor your PCs performance

Windows 11: Microsoft introduces widgets to monitor your PC’s performance. Here’s how to get them

You can now keep an eye on your computer’s performance from Windows 11’s Widgets panel. Microsoft is testing four new widgets to track the performance of your computer’s processor, graphics card or RAM.

You don’t need to download any third-party tool to monitor your PC’s performance. In both Windows 10 and Windows 11, Microsoft offers several ways to keep an eye on system resources. In fact, you can open the operating system’s task manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) or directly launch the Xbox Game Bar (Windows + G), which contains a module for monitoring the computer’s performance.

Soon you’ll be able to monitor your PC directly from the Windows widget panel. Microsoft is actually testing new widgets that will allow you to see real-time usage of your PC’s processor, graphics card, RAM and network card. These widgets are not just limited to monitoring as you can also perform specific actions such as finishing the most demanding tasks with one click.

How to install widgets to monitor your PC’s performance?

Although these new widgets are currently only available for testing, they can be installed by all users on Windows 11. In fact, they are part of the preview version of the Dev Home application that Microsoft released on its App Store a few weeks ago. You can therefore now install them on your PC without the need for Insider program membership. Here is the procedure to install it on your PC now.
