Wish You Were Here: Kirstie Alley’s daughter Lillie remembers her late mother on her 72nd birthday

Kirstie Alley’s daughter, Lillie Price Stevenson, paid tribute to her late mother in an Instagram post in honor of her 72nd birthday on Thursday.

Lillie, 28, posted a picture with four black and white images of the Cheers and Look Who’s Talking star, who died December 5 after a battle with colon cancer.

She captioned the post: “Happy birthday mum…wish you were here.”

In the throwback pictures, which appear to have been taken in the 1980s or 1990s, Alley struck a series of poses as she wore a strapless top.

Lillie was seen looking straight at the camera with a ponytail; View to the side in two shots; and poses with her hand on her hair and wears it down.

Lillie and her brother True released a joint statement on Instagram announcing the Emmy-winning actress’ death.

“To all our friends far and wide around the world…” he said. “We are saddened to announce that our incredible, wild and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer that was only recently discovered.

“She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great vigour, leaving us reassured of her never-ending zest for life and all the adventures ahead. As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother.”

They said they are grateful to “the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Moffitt Cancer Center” in Tampa, Fla. “for their care” of Alley.

“The zest for life and passion of our mother, her children, grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her eternal joy in creating, was unparalleled and inspires us to live life to the fullest, just as she did,” they said you.

The siblings thanked people for their “love and prayers” and asked for privacy during the difficult time.
