The block commanded by singer Pabllo Vittar was closed almost an hour before the scheduled time this Sunday afternoon (19) due to a safety recommendation. The presentation started at 1:50 p.m. and ended at around 5:10 p.m. in the Ibirapuera Park area in the South Zone of São Paulo.

Pabllo thanked the crowd and said he would stay until “tomorrow morning” if he could, but he had to bring the end up early to ensure safety.

The audience stayed for a few minutes after the announcement, yelling for the singer to come back. At one point, the block’s production even prompted the crowd to leave.

“Please exit the venue safely,” the production announced as people called for an encore.

How was the block

The rain let up all afternoon and thousands of revelers enjoyed themselves amid the heat and some mud puddles. The presentation included the singer’s old hits, songs from the new album “Noitada” and the participation of DJ Pedro Sampaio and MC Carol.

Shortly after the block began, Pabllo had problems with the sound and stopped the music for about 15 minutes. Another stop, faster, came after the start of a confusion between revelers.

Despite the turbulent start, the block remained very lively, with young people and the LGBTQIA+ crowd singing, dancing and applauding every song.

Around 4pm the party started to fill up around the electric trio. At that moment, the organization decided to bring the end of the show forward.

The “Bloco da Pabllo” was scheduled to last until 6 p.m. The forecast was to attract between 100,000 and 500,000 people. The concentration almost entirely took over the part of Avenida Pedro Álvares Pedro Cabral between the Obelisk and the Monument to the Flags.
