RIO Almost two weeks after being diagnosed with Covid19, Roberto Carlos postponed for the second time the shows he would be giving at Qualitage, a concert venue in Rio’s West Zone. On Friday night (1st), the singer’s council released a statement on Instagram, informing that the king had tested negative for the coronavirus but chose to postpone the performances as he was still suffering from flulike symptoms.

According to the note, the next three shows Roberto Carlos would do gained new dates. This weekend’s performances have been postponed to July 23rd and 24th and next Wednesday’s show has been postponed to the following week, postponed to the 13th. The artistic team reiterates that tickets purchased will automatically be valid for the new dates.

Meanwhile, the July 9th and 10th presentations remain confirmed. On the 10th, the King puts on an unprecedented show, inviting only women to fill the qualifying days. “First time in Rio de Janeiro, Roberto Carlos in a womenonly show. In this special show, the day is reserved just for them: men don’t get in!” reads the post, shared on the singer’s Instagram last week.
