Connect 3 devices to the MX Keys
What makes the MX Keys different from other keyboards is that we can connect them to three different devices.
The MX Keys is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. All types of devices can be linked directly to the MX Keys.
This means that it can be used simultaneously with a PC, an Android cell phone and an Apple iPad tablet.
Simply connect the devices directly in the Logi Option+ application. Then press one of the three dedicated buttons on the MX Keys to select the relevant computer, mobile phone or tablet.
It’s easier to multitask and more efficient across multiple platforms.
The Logi Option + application is also useful when we want to change certain functions associated with a specific key. Example: Changing the functionality of the lock button to completely shut down the computer instead.
Illuminated, quiet and precise keys
When you use the Logitech MX Keys for the first time, you can see that it is a premium product. The keyboard is robust and has a high-quality design.
When you press the keys they are very quiet compared to a traditional keyboard or a mechanical type that makes a lot of noise.
This means that using the MX Keys is less tiring on our ears. Our family members or colleagues in the office will appreciate it!
The keys are fluid and concave. They nestle perfectly against our fingers. The matte finish allows our knuckles to easily slide onto the chain with almost no fatigue.
When you work in a dark environment, it’s not easy to see your keys. No problem with the MX Keys, because the keys are backlit.
Thanks to a sensor, these keys light up as soon as we put our hands near the keyboard. We can control the light intensity via two buttons.
Up to 5 months battery life
Since the Logitech MX Keys keyboard is a wireless keyboard, this inevitably means that it runs on battery power. What is its autonomy?
When used wirelessly, a full charge can take 10 days when the backlight is on.
If this option is disabled, the autonomy is extended up to 5 months without the need for recharging.
There are three ways to connect this keyboard to our computer:
- With a USB Type-C cable
- Via Bluetooth wireless connection
- With receiver for wireless connection
Only small downside, you can’t adjust the angle of the keyboard with the support at the bottom. However, at the price it costs, this option is not in high demand.
