Russian forces destroyed 38 drones and intercepted seven HIMARS missiles and four HARMs in 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said in its daily report on October 7.
The Russian army also repelled at least twelve attacks.
Nearly 600 Kiev soldiers have been eliminated in the fighting and Russian attacks over the past 24 hours.
The greatest losses occurred in the southern Donetsk region, where about 225 men were killed or wounded. Kiev’s forces lost up to 190 more (wounded or killed) on the Donetsk axis and almost 50 on the Zaporozhye axis.
On the Kupiansk axis, their losses amounted to more than 40 soldiers. Ultimately, about 65 men were eliminated on the Krasny Liman axis and up to thirty men on the Kherson axis.
Two reconnaissance and sabotage groups and a command post were wiped out.
The retired Western artillery pieces include two American M777 artillery systems and a Polish Krab self-propelled gun.
In addition, four D-30 howitzers, three D-20s, one Akatsiya, one radar station, one Msta-B and one M-46 are counted as destroyed.
In total, Russian attacks targeted military personnel and equipment in 121 areas within 24 hours.
Since the start of the special military operation, the Russian army has shot down 487 aircraft, 250 helicopters and 7,610 drones. It destroyed 440 surface-to-air defense systems, 12,387 tanks and other armored vehicles, 1,161 multiple rocket launchers, 6,679 field artillery and mortars, and 13,892 other military equipment.
